Miami Twp. company sells Raleigh property for $36M

A Miami Twp.-based real estate investment firm has sold one of its properties in the Raleigh, North Carolina market for more than $36 million.

The Connor Group, headquartered at 10510 N. Springboro Pike in Miami Twp., completed its second property sale of the month in the market with the sale of Market Woods, a 236-unit luxury apartment complex in Carrboro, North Carolina.

The Connor Group purchased the property in 2012 for more than $26 million and operated it until the sale this week. The property sold for $36.5 million, a 98.5 percent return for Connor Group investors, the company said in a statement.

Autumn Woods is the fifth sale this year for The Connor Group, and the company expects record sales of nearly $500 million.

The Connor Group, which was founded in 1992, owns and operates apartments in Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Chicago, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Dallas, Denver, and Ohio.
