3 Premier Health facilities rank as top hospitals nationwide

Three Premier Health hospitals rank in the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for clinical excellence.

Good Samaritan Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center were awarded the Healthgrades Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence. The award recognizes hospitals for “superior performance” in providing care across several clinical areas.

This is the fourth year in a row Good Samaritan and Miami Valley Hospital have received the award, and the third consecutive year that Atrium Medical Center has received it.

“Our employees, our hospitals and Premier Health as a system go to great lengths to ensure patients receive quality care,” said Mike Maiberger, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Premier Health.

Premier Health is headquartered in Dayton and operates four hospitals. The health system is the second largest employer in the region, and the largest healthcare system in Southwest Ohio.
