Stratacache subsidiary launches new interactive platform

A subsidiary of Dayton-based Stratacache has launched a new technology platform to connect consumers with brands through interactive experiences, company officials announced.

Interactive media company enVu has launched DigitalPlay, which allows consumers to connect with brands via touch, mobile, social and augmented reality technology, officials said.

Officials said DigitalPlay offers brands a new outlet to advertise within shopping malls, retail locations, special events, conventions and other high-traffic venues. The new product line features custom media walls, kiosks, storefront windows and an array of multi-dimensional and 3-D event displays.

In addition, the DigitalPlay product line also offers analytics and reporting technology, officials said.

Stratacache, a Dayton-based digital sign and marketing technology company, launched enVu in 2010 to manage its gestural interactive, digital out-of-home division. The wholly owned subsidiary is headquartered in New York City.

Stratacache has about 160 employees, including 55 to 60 in Dayton
