Wanted: Your ideas to make life in Dayton better

A regional “wish list” for people, organizations and needs seeking government funding is being compiled, and your input is sought.

The 2018-2019 Priority Development and Advocacy Committee (PDAC) is looking for input on projects worthy of government funding. The committee, overseen by the Dayton Development Coalition, is looking for ideas in the fields of defense, transportation and government services, health care, economic development and quality of life.

MORESTAYING POWER: Local companies that have thrived for a century-plus

The idea is to submit detailed ideas for projects in those areas that can be funded by government and are most likely to benefit the entire Dayton region.

Five review panels will sift through suggestions and make their own recommendations.

Once those decisions are made, coalition leaders and allies can approach state and federal delegations with one voice on requests for government funding.

An online PDAC "questionnaire" can be completed here. Frequently asked questions about the process can be found here. The main PDAC web site is here. All questionnaires must be submitted by close of business Nov. 9, 2018.
