Finished walk-out basement doubles living space

A redesign of the original floor plan of this brick ranch opened up the kitchen, creating a large gathering space while a full finished basement nearly doubles the living space.

Listed for $219,900 by Domescik and Associates Inc., the home at 3560 Echo Spring Trail has about 1,520 square feet of living space on the main level, plus the walk-out basement.

The house sits on a corner lot with a large side yard, terraced back yard with stone steps and paver-brick patio. There is a storage shed, paver-brick driveway to the two-car garage and a sunken covered patio that has access to the basement. Vinyl and glass-block windows are throughout.

Formal entry opens into a foyer hallway that wraps around to the bedroom wing and bathrooms. Directly off the hallway to the left is the formal living room with hardwood flooring that continues into the adjoining dining room and kitchen. A stone, wood-burning fireplace is the centerpiece to the room, and the fireplace has a raised hearth and stone mantel.

At the back of the house is the kitchen and dining room.
