One of the original homes moved from the Osborn Historical area, this two-story home features much of its original charm with some modern updates.

Listed for $189,900 by RE/MAX Home Base, the vinyl-sided house at 69 N. Grand Ave. has about 2,060 sq. ft. of living space and is located just a couple blocks from downtown Fairborn.

The property has a carriage house, multi-level deck, paver patio, stone water feature, stone footpaths, off-street parking and a covered front porch with sun porch.

A leaded-glass door opens from the covered porch into a combined living room and parlor. Wood flooring fills the living room, parlor and continues into the centrally located dining room. Windows and doorways have wide molding with corner accents. In one corner of the parlor is a decorative fireplace with wood mantel. A wood panel opens a hidden closet or entertainment nook. A pocket door off the living room opens into a remodeled full bathroom.

The bath features bubble-glass bowl sink built into a granite countertop upon a tree-stump pedestal. Ceramic tile with mosaic stone accents surround the walls and flooring of the shower feature.

The dining room is at the center of the home and has access to the kitchen and great room.

The great room addition has a cathedral ceiling with ceiling paddle fan, terra cotta flooring, a wood-burning stove and a full wall of windows surrounding the rear glass door that opens to the park-like back yard. Two bay-like bump outs with built-in bookcases and hidden track lighting create two sitting areas on each side of the great room.

Ceramic-tile flooring fills the kitchen and was installed this year. The kitchen has three separate counter and cabinetry areas that surround appliances, including a range, dishwasher and microwave. A double sink is tucked in one corner and a buffet counter with wood-like top is near the walkway into the dining room.

Off the kitchen is the stairwell to the basement. There is a built-in pantry at the first landing. The basement has been semi-finished with ceramic-tile flooring, two bonus rooms, one currently being used as an office while the other has two walls of built-in storage, including a craft desk. There is a laundry nook with folding counter and additional storage. The house heating and cooling systems has had updated duct work.

Three bedrooms and a full bathroom are upstairs. All three bedrooms have large windows with original woodwork surround and extra-deep single-door closets. The bathroom has been updated with ceramic-tile flooring, a single-sink vanity, built-in cabinetry, a claw-foot tub and a fiberglass shower with glass doors hidden behind a closet door.

The carriage house has its original doors and has been divided into a workshop and art studio. There is built-in storage and loft storage. The building could be converted into a garage as there is a driveway to the entrance.
