Georgian Colonial features accent the brick-wrapped facade of the traditional two-story home at 73 W. Waterbury Drive in Springboro.

Built in 2000 on a tree-lined lot in the Villages of Creekside community, this home has been enhanced with several recent updates.

“Most of the interior was repainted last month,” said Marti Shoenfelt, sales manager for the Tim Hall Team at RE/MAX Victory.

Shoenfelt said that new carpet was installed in the family room and on the staircase last month. The lower level of the home was finished in 2011, bringing total living space to nearly 3,300 square feet.

“It’s nicely finished and it’s definitely move-in ready,” Shoenfelt said.

The home is listed for $249,900.

Traditional hardwood flooring extends through the entry hall and into the guest bath, the breakfast area and the kitchen.

Neutral carpet covers the floor in the open dining and living rooms situated left and right of the entry.

The living room is a versatile space and can be used as an office.

A Williamsburg-styled brass chandelier centers the formal dining room, and tall windows are shaded with wide-slat blinds matching those at the living room windows.

The entry hall leads past the half-bath, which has an oval-shaped pedestal sink, and on into the breakfast area, which is centered between family room and kitchen in an open gathering area with direct access to the patio.

Freshly painted walls and the new carpet addition create a like-new look in the family room, where the fireplace is framed with ceramic-tile facing and a white mantel with fluted posts. A pair of ceiling bullseye lights are ideally located to accent artwork or collectibles that might be placed on or above the mantel.

Two windows flanking the fireplace face the back yard, which is edged by a line of mature trees. Shoenfelt said the yard is especially private during the warmer seasons.

“In about a month you won’t be able to see through (the tree line) at all,” she said.

Naturally stained wood cabinets with raised-panel doors surround the kitchen work space, where counters wrap around the corner into an L-shape. Another counter with additional cabinets is installed on the back wall between the entrance to the dining room and the French door refrigerator, where it can serve as a coffee station or bar area when entertaining dinner guests. Nearby is a full-size pantry.

Track lighting accents the center island. Stainless-steel kitchen appliances include the dishwasher, the microwave oven and a recently installed smooth-surface range.

Four bedrooms and two baths are on the upper level. The main suite offers a bedroom with a wide walk-in closet. The textured ceiling is centered with a designer paddle fan.

In the adjacent bath, a soaking tub is set in ceramic tile that extends to the walls around the separate step-in shower, which has a textured glass enclosure. This bath has a double vanity and a linen closet.

Three more bedrooms have double wall closets with paneled sliding doors. They share the hall bath, which has a tub and shower combo and a raised vanity. Another linen closet is placed just outside the door in the hall.

Carpet and wall paint create a pleasing neutral décor for the recreation area on the lower level. There are above-ground windows and recessed ceiling lights in this open space, which accommodates a sitting/TV area and a game table area.

Ceramic tile covers the floor in the laundry room, where cabinets, counter and deep sink are installed.

Abundant storage space is available in a room that has two accesses to the dedicated area for the furnace and the water heater.

The oversized, two-car garage has finished walls and built-in cabinets above a work bench area.

Residents of the Villages of Creekside community may enjoy the swimming pool, a stocked fishing pond, a play area, walking trails and tennis courts.
