An investigation by the Dayton Police Department found child pornography on Schmidt’s cellphone, according to, according to Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Greg Flannagan.
Investigators identified one victim, a 3-year-old girl who is known to Schmidt, Flannagan said.
No attorney is listed for Schmidt, who is in the Montgomery County Jail.
