Those taking the stage will include the University of Dayton Guitar Ensemble, Dayton Jazz Ensemble, University of Dayton Horn Quartet, University Orchestra, University of Dayton Chorale, University of Dayton Theatre, Percussion Ensemble, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, First Flight Saxophone Quartet, University of Dayton Ebony Heritage Singers and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company 2.
The 90-minute kick-off performance will also include pre-show activities beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Wintergarden. The artwork on display includes an abstract group sculpture of the 1913 Dayton flood, which used linear steel elements to represent the bonds of community during the tragedy.

A closing exhibit, hosted by the Department of Visual Arts, is slated for 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in Gallery 249, second floor of the College Park Center, 1529 Brown St. No tickets are required.
This is your chance to see open studios, student exhibitions and art-making workshops. An awards ceremony will be held for the annual Horvath Exhibition, a juried exhibition highlighting student artwork that’s currently on display and can be seen through April 25 at Gallery 249. Parking is available all day April 17 in D Lot by the College Park Center.
The Celebration of the Arts is part of the University’s Brother Joseph W. Stander Symposium, an annual event showcasing student research and scholarship.
