The Christmas Ranch lights in Morrow are to the flick the switch on, at 5 p.m. Friday.
The 110-acre Christmas Ranch park has nearly 500,000 LED lights transforming the landscape into a magical Christmas light park filled with light-up Santa Clauses, a 35-foot-tall toy factory and more.
“The lights are just amazing,” said Pam Katenkamp, a visitor to the park. “From the time you pull off the main road to the drive, before you even get to the parking lot.”
Families will have the chance to walk through the park gazing at the wonderful lights, taking a stroll through the forest of giant animated Christmas trees. All types of Christmas figures spin and dance to the Christmas music that can be heard through out the park.
“The lights dance to the music, and it is like a wonderland in Middletown,” said Katenkamp.
Patrons will also have the chance to drive through a 135-foot-long animated tunnel filled with thousands of Christmas lights. Train and wagon rides will be running throughout the night, taking families around the Christmas Village to enjoy special attractions that can only be seen on the rides.
The Christmas Ranch also had an array of shops for families to browse through. Children can get some baked goods at Santa’s Bakery and Cafe or watch trains whiz around the room in Tinseltown Trains.
Children will also have the chance to pose with Santa in Santa’s Workshop. And for all the families who want that nostalgic feel, head over to The Christmas Cabin, where old-fashioned rustic gifts and ornaments can be purchased.
And new this year at The Christmas Ranch are the 3-D Holiday Holospexs, which lets patrons see the colorful lights timed to music.
“When I got out of car I went from 51-years-old to 8-years-old instantly,” said Katenkamp.
Don’t miss out on this spectacular light show that has been featured on “Good Morning America.”
