Violations: The handwashing sink was not easily accessible in the back room due to the amount of items stored in front. To ensure frequent and proper handwashing, a handwashing sink shall be maintained so that it is accessible at all times for employee use.
Person-in-charge did not ensure that the facility has written procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events. Person in charge shall ensure that the FSO or RFE have written procedures for employees to follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involved discharge onto surfaces.
An irreversible registering temperature indicator (thermometer or labels) was not readily accessible in hot water mechanical warewashing operations. A temperature measuring device is essential to monitor mechanical ware washing to ensure sanitization.
Observed no supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder or bar soap at the blocked handwashing sink(s). To ensure proper cleaning of hands, each handwashing sink or group of two adjacent handwashing sinks shall be provided with a supply of hand cleaning liquid, powder, or bar soap.
Observed a build-up of dirt and debris, specifically on floors underneath shelving and equipment. The physical facilities shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean, and cleaning shall be done during periods when the least amount of food is exposed.
Observed mops being dried using an unapproved method. After use, mops shall be placed in a position that allows them to air-dry without soiling walls, equipment, or supplies.
