The Kettering Backpack Program utilizes essential employees from the Kettering City Schools and the City of Kettering on Fridays to distribute nutritious food to students to sustain them over the weekend. Every week, students receive individual servings of fruit cups, pudding, vegetables, cereal, applesauce, microwavable ravioli, mac and cheese and 100% real fruit juice. If you are thinking about ordering to feed yourself and help feed some of the community's children at the same time, Christopher's Restaurant has created a new tab on their website, www.christophers.biz, to order food. They have taken a few of the favorite dishes from their regular menu and packaged them for dinners for four or more.
