Restaurant to offer free wings on National Wing Day

The Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant at 3725 Presidential Drive near Wright State University in Beavercreek announced this morning a special promotion for National Chicken Wing Day on July 29.

Diners who purchase an entree on July 29 will receive a free order of wings (six pieces). The wings are an appetizer called the “Sprinster” on the restaurant’s menu, and are served with carrots or celery and either ranch or blue cheese dressing. The retail value of the wings is $6.99.

(As an aside, I wonder how the restaurants recognized in our other story today entitled "Festival Crowns 'Best Chicken Wings in Dayton'" will be celebrating National Chicken Wing Day? Hmmmmm.)

Founded in Sharon, Pa. in 1974, Quaker Steak & Lube operates 60 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. The restaurants offer a choice of 20 different wing sauces, including two of the world’s hottest wing sauces, the Atomic and Triple Atomic, which require guests to sign a waiver before consuming.
