For instant, savory bacon— just insert a dollar and press B10.
The Ohio State University has added a Bacon Vending Machine in its Animal Science Building. Now through Dec. 13, students can purchase ready-to-eat bacon from the machine for a dollar.
Ohio State’s meat science program partnered with the Ohio Pork Council to install the machine, according to a 10TV report. Members of the program are responsible for stocking the machine and proceeds will benefit the group.
“The Bacon Vending Machine is a unique and fun way for the Ohio Pork Council to support Ohio State students and promote the pork industry at the same time,” said President-Elect Dave Shoup, Ohio Pork Council in the 10TV report.
The Ohio State Animal Science Building is located at 2029 Fyffe Rd. in Columbus.
