Book, books and more books: the Dayton Metro Library Fall Book Sale starts today

The Friends of the Dayton Metro Library will host their Fall Book Sale on Nov. 2 and 3 at the Dayton Convention Center.

This is a good time to add to your book collection.

The Friends of the Dayton Metro Library will host their Fall Book Sale today and Saturday at the Dayton Convention Center, 22 E. Fifth St.

The Fall Book Sale will have thousands of books, CDs and DVDs for all ages. Books will be sorted by subject matter and include sports, mysteries, science fiction, children’s picture books and more.

Items in the Special Collections area of the sale will be individually priced, and everything else will be $1.

Admission is free and shoppers who park in the Dayton Convention Center Garage will receive $2 off their total purchase, the cost of the first hour of parking. Friends of the Library members are entitled to choose five free books at the sale.

The sale will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
