Dayton Food Truck Battles are ready for the next round. Here are this week’s challengers.

Dayton food trucks are in the second season of the Food Truck Battles at the Yellow Cab Tavern.

Two trucks will compete at each battle each week, each representing its style of cuisine whether that be breakfast, vegan, Asian, tacos, barbecue, etc.

The truck with the most sales will be crowned the winner. The winning truck advances to the next round.

“Last summer was an amazing series of food fights and entrée encounters,” said Bork Torkleson, spokesman for the food-truck battles. “We’ve perfected a few things for this second season and are excited to get all of this delicious destruction back at the Yellow Cab.”

Food Truck Battles take place on Thursdays at the Yellow Cab through October. We will update this story throughout the season with the next food trucks competing.
