“It is going to be a real nice event,” Webb said.
Entertainment includes The Dayton Funk All-Stars, Touch and DJ Stan Da Man from 98.7 FM.
Appetizers will be served.
There will be half-hour tours of the Funk Center from 7-9 p.m. that day.
Webb said The Funk Center will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. Call 937-837-4441 for reservations at other times.

The funk music genre put Dayton on the map as the Land of the Funk in the 1970s and '80s, thanks to a stable of groups that included the Ohio Players, Steve Arrington's Hall of Fame, Zapp, Faze-O, Heatwave, Sun, Slave and Lakeside.
