With strawberry versions of funnel cakes, waffle bowls, cheesecake, gelato and more, this festival is a berry lover's dream. But the treats aren't all you have to see — there will also be live music both days, with the main stage downtown, contests, food trucks, tournaments, runs and craft vendors.

With the help of Troy Strawberry Festival organizers and faithful festival-goers, we have come up with a list of things you will want to try at the festival. This list is by no means exhaustive.

Get ready to overindulge.

1. Strawberry donuts: The most popular treat at the festival, the strawberry donuts are simply a must. You won't regret the long line you will surely have to stand in over at Troy Memorial Stadium (visitor's side) to get these goodies. Trust us, they are worth it. These donuts are perhaps one of the greatest Troy Strawberry Festival traditions. The donuts will be sold by the Troy Music Boosters for $10 a dozen and will help benefit Troy schools music programs.
