The Troy location was the first Basil’s on Market bistro-style restaurant to open, in 2014 in downtown Troy. The downtown Dayton restaurant, which overlooks the Great Miami River, welcomed its first customers in 2016. A third location is scheduled to open soon near the entrance of the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek. A Mason location opened in 2018, but it is currently closed and will transition into a taproom concept in the coming weeks.

The owners of Basil’s on Market recently shut down their Stone Ground Deli and Locktenders locations that had opened in Piqua in 2019.
