Derby Day wiener dog race returning to the Oregon District this weekend

It’s one of the most adorable events of the year if you ask us, and it’s almost here.

The fourth-annual Oregon District Derby Day Wiener Dog Race will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

This event is fun for the whole family, especially your wiener dog! Registration is now open, and you can sign your pup up for the race here.

If you want to sign up for the race only, it will cost $5, but for $15 you can get a derby day T-shirt and donation to local animal welfare organizations SICSA Pet Adoption Center, Humane Society of Greater Dayton, & PAWS Adoption Center.

>>WHERE TO PARK: New, free parking spaces now open in Oregon District

Don’t have a pooch to race? No problem. If you would like to just donate and get a T-shirt, that will cost $10.
