High school graduations through the weekend

Dayton Public Schools 2016 valedictorians and salutatorians recently gathered in the DPS TV studio to record "Best of the Class." They will graduate in May from Belmont, Dunbar Early College HS, Meadowdale, Ponitz CTC, Stivers School for the Arts and Thurgood Marshall STEM HS, as well as Dayton Business Technology HS, a DPS-sponsored charter school.

Today is the day many seniors have waited years for: High School Graduation.

15 area high schools graduate today and tomorrow, making this one of the busiest weekends for high school graduates and their families.

The graduations are as follows:

Saturday

Centerville-  9 a.m., Nutter Center

Dunbar- 9 a.m., Dunbar HS

Alter-  9:30 a.m.,Trent Arena

Tipppecanoe-  10 a.m., Tippecanoe HS

Thurgood Marshall-   11 a.m., Thurgood HS

Northridge-  2 p.m., Northridge

Stivers-  2 p.m., Masonic Center

Bellbrook-  2 p.m., Nutter Center

Sugarcreek-  2 p.m., Trent Arena

Belmont-  4 p.m., Belmont HS

Lebanon-  6 p.m., Nutter Center

Sunday

Northmont-  1 p.m., Nutter Center

Meadowdale-  1 p.m., Meadowdale HS

Newton-   2 p.m., Newton JHS

Ponitz-  3 p.m., Masonic Center
