The cost is $5 per person, which includes one-hour lesson at 7 p.m. followed by a one-and-a-half-hour social dance from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The lessons will teach East Coast Swing. Each week, a different DJ will provide a mix of vintage and modern swing jazz.

While the lessons are progressive, participants are free to jump in any time during the month. There is no partner or experience needed to participate.

Lessons are held every Tuesday night in January at the American Czechoslovakian Club, 922 Valley St., Dayton.
What is Gem City Swing?
Founded in 2015, Gem City Swing is Dayton’s premiere swing dance organization. The club hosts weekly lessons and dances every Tuesday night from 7-9:30 p.m at the American Czechoslovakian Club.
