Created by Row House Cinema in Pittsburgh, the Quarantine Cat Film Fest features 1,200 video submissions filmed during the COVID-19 quarantine. The cat-themed film festival will be showing virtually at The Neon in Dayton beginning on Friday, June 19.

Despite receiving video submissions from all over the world, a local cat’s submission has managed to earn it a first-place prize in the festival’s “Bravest” category. Johnny Appleseed, belonging to Jamie Small of Dayton, will earn a cash prize and special mention in the cat film festival.
