What are you afraid of?  Clash Dayton's seventh annual "Phobia" art show takes place this First Friday, Nov. 6 and features over 40 different local artists.  The only thing you should be afraid of, is missing it.

Phobias are irrational fears that can cause such great anxiety that they actually become debilitating, but for the sake of Clash's show, each artist expresses his/her fear by turning it into something beautiful.

We spoke with seven different artists about how they translated their unique phobia into inspiring and meaningful works of art.

When the show opens, at 5 p.m., each person who walks through the doors receives one ballot to cast a vote for their favorite work of art until 9:30 p.m.  Clash Dayton donates a $100 cash prize to the winning artist.
