Beer Fest at The Greene returns to celebrate the Air Force Marathon ... and beer

Live music, kids activities, a skydiver (weather permitting), food and, of course, beer will all be part of the celebration.

"We have live music featuring the Reaganomics — they are a fun band — the OSU games, kids activities, burgers from EO Burgers," said Amy Zahora, executive director of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association (MVRA), who is coordinating the event.

"There is literally something for the whole family. And if you do not want to partake in Beer Fest, we do have a beer garden available with cold Bud Light, Mich Ultra, White Claw, Goose Island, and water," Zahora said. "This is one of my favorite events."

"Beer Fest is just a fun event where you get 15 beer samples, a souvenir mug, and choose from 36 beers for just $20 in advance, $25 day of. Veterans and Air Force Marathon runners cost $20 if they show their medal," Zahora said.

🍺19 CRIMES IPA, 6.0% ABV 

India Pale Ale. A nicely balanced IPA, easy to drink with a bitter presence.

🍺21st AMENDMENT BREW FREE OR DIE! BLOOD ORANGE IPA, 7.0% ABV 

This IPA beer has fresh blood orange puree and a twist of citrus dry hops.

🍺ALASKAN BREWING AMBER, 5.3% ABV 

Richly malty beautiful amber colored “alt” style.

🍺BALLAST POINT ALOHA SCULPIN, 7.0% ABV 

Award winning IPA, with notes of mango, pineapple and guava.

🍺BON & VIV SPIKED SELTZER GRAPEFRUIT, 4.5% ABV 

Spiked seltzer made with purified water and natural fruit flavors. Gluten free.

🍺BRECKENRIDGE STRAWBERRY SKY, 4.8% ABV 

Kolsh style ale brewed with strawberries. Light-hearted ale.

🍺BROOKLYN OKTOBERFEST, 5.5% ABV 

Marzen lager harnesses sweet, bready malts and traditional German hops.

🍺BUDWEISER RESERVE COPPER LAGER, 6.2% ABV 

Copper lager, aged on Jim Beam Bourbon Barrel Staves. Limited edition.

🍺CIDERGEIST SWIZZLE, 5.0% ABV 

Hard cider. Dry, effervescent cider, twist of infusions of lemongrass and ginger.

🍺DESCHUTES LIL SQUEEZY, 5.0% ABV 

Pale Ale. Refreshingly juicy.

🍺DESCHUTES BOTANIC ALE, 7.0% ABV 

Spiced, herbed beer. Botanic Ale. Lively aromas, twisted roots.

Medium bodied, deep amber in color.

Tangerine Sparkling Ale. Dry, low calorie, gluten removed, dry bubbly finish.

Sour Beer. Watermelon Gose and kosher salt.

Light Wheat Ale with mango flavor and aroma, finishing crisp and refreshing.

Notes of toffee and burnt sugar, dried apricots. Dry malty body.

Fruited Ale. Bright and refined session Rose’ Ale with apple, peach and cranberry.

Oktoberfest beer takes on a German brew. Not traditional, but uber German.

🍺TRULY PINEAPPLE, 5.0% ABV 

Hard seltzer. Tropical in a can, perfect for sipping in the sun.

🍺TWO ROADS - ROAD JAM, 5.0% ABV 

Wheat Ale fermented with red and black raspberries and accented with lemongrass.

🍺VIRTUE CIDER MICHIGAN CHERRY, 5.0% ABV 

The final cider is tart and rich with a touch of sweetness.

🍺WHITE CLAW MANGO, 5.0% ABV

Made using blend of seltzer water, gluten free alcohol base and hint of mango.

🍺YUENGLING OKTOBERFEST, 5.4% ABV 

Medium bodied, blends of roasted malts with just the right amount of hops.
