Yellow Cab Tavern to host Hallow’s Eve Ball — and music video shoot

“Halloween comes just once a year, so let’s get weird, let’s get spooky!”

A spine-chilling variety show is on tap for a special Halloween show hosted by the Yellow Cab Tavern Friday night.

The Hallow’s Eve Ball Halloween Show will feature local band Cherry Lee and the Hot Rod Hounds and Qiet, a band from West Virginia.

Visitors should dress up in their wildest Halloween costumes and help make a music video during the event.

“We’ve been talking with Cherry Lee for months about lining up a special Halloween show where we could encourage people to dress up and then shoot a music video,” David Obenour, concert promoter, said. “In looking for ways to round out the show, we got the email about a 1920s jazz/punk septet from West Virginia available on that day. We knew pretty quickly we found the missing piece with Qiet.”
