Paw Patrol Dayton needs you to help their puppies get lucky this St. Patrick's Day.

Founded in 2012, the nonprofit organization has worked to rescue and re-home neglected, abused or otherwise unwanted dogs into loving homes.

This Saturday, the non-profit has teamed up with La Gota Coffee for their first ever Downward Doggin' Puppy Yoga event.

The event doubles as a fundraiser for PPD, as well as a meet-and-greet with the many puppies that will be roaming, stretching and tumbling about La Gota during the hour-long yoga session.

“One of the big things is that it’s not an adoption event where you take the puppy home with you that day. We will have materials you can take with you so you can apply online, but there’s still a home-check process and a meet-and-greet— still a regular application process,” said Sarah McLaughlin, one of the co-organizers of puppy yoga.

Each puppy will be identified with name tags, so you’ll be able to remember who your favorite yoga buddy was.

“The event is really a fun way to give the puppies some socialization, some exposure to potential adopters and then some awareness about what Dayton Paw Patrol does as an organization,” McLaughlin said.

Space is limited, so you must purchase your $20 ticket prior to the event on Paw Patrol's website. PPD asks that you bring your own yoga mat, as they will not be provided.
