The Contemporary Dayton has announced the artist award winners for the current exhibit, “Glow: The 28th Annual Open Members Show.”
The show, sponsored by the DP&L Foundation, opened last week and is on view through Aug. 10.
“Our audiences say this is one of their favorite shows of the year — a snapshot or microcosm of Dayton arts all in one gallery,” said Eva Buttacavoli, The Co’s Executive Director.
For 28 years, the Contemporary Dayton, 118 N. Jefferson St., has given artists the opportunity to submit a work art for an exhibition with 100 of their peers.
The artist award winners are:
The Lombard Award (Best in Show)
John Emery, Dayton
The Mike Goheen Memorial Award for Photography
Jill Spencer, Centerville
Morris Howard, Dayton
Penny Park, Oakwood
Joe Plummer, Clayton
Jaime Pacheco, Dayton
Francis Schanberger, Dayton
