Fusian is a local Ohio chain that builds custom sushi rolls for their customers, one ingredient at a time. Recently, they’ve added a grocery section to their online ordering website, as well as a selection of take-home meal kits. Fusian’s meal kits come with everything needed to create four servings of each meal including cooked rice, whole produce, sauces, seasonings, toppings, and more. They advise that each kit takes around 15 minutes to prepare from start to finish. Some of their options include chicken teriyaki stir fry, tofu Thai peanut stir fry, and chili ponzu roasted salmon, to name just a few.

With some of the tastiest pizza around, including gluten-less, vegan, and dairy-free options, “The Dive” has been offering its customers a chance to try their hand at making its pizza since 2013 with its popular Take-N-Make Pizza Kit. Every kit includes dusting flour, pizza dough, garlic butter sauce, pizza sauce, shredded cheese, and any toppings you order. The instructions also assure you that it doesn’t matter if the pizza ends up being perfectly round because “any shape tastes good.”

As the temperature starts to climb, one of the things we miss most is Fifth Street Brewpub’s patio. Luckily, we can take a little of the patio experience home with us now that they’re offering Taco Take-Out. This upscale Dayton restaurant had to switch gears amid the coronavirus crisis and it started offering online ordering with a popular pasta bar format. Alongside these tasty pasta dishes, diners looking for a fine meal will be delighted with their Butter Poached Filet Kit (available in a four pack or two). This take-and-make meal kit features butter poached, sous vide 7-ounce filets, seasoned mashed potatoes, and asparagus — not to mention the option to add Chianti to the order for an additional $10. When you think of longstanding Dayton establishments, Smales tops the list. Opening in 1906, Smales has delighted Daytonians with their delicious pretzels for generations, and even operated a stand in the Arcade. Although the bakery itself is closed, you can still get your Smales fix in the frozen foods aisle at Dorothy Lane Market stores. Follow the simple steps, including adding as much or as little salt as you like, bake, and enjoy!
