We’ve got a soft spot for pets -- and here’s your chance to show yours off.

The Dayton Daily News is hosting a Cutest Pet Photo Contest, and you can enter now through April 10, 2019.

The categories for entry include:

  • Cutest Dog
  • Cutest Cat
  • Most Mischievous Pet
  • Best Pet and Owner Look-A-Like
  • So Ugly It Is Cute
  • Best Rescue Pet

It's simple to enter. Go to the contest page, upload a photo of your pet in the appropriate category (deadline for entry is April 10, 2019), then encourage your friends and family to vote.

Voting runs April 11-25, 2019. Winners will be announced on April 30, 2019.

Category winners will receive prizes valued up to $300.
