The caller said a man shot another person, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
Dayton Police Lt. Steven Bauer said that officers found the victim, a 30-year-old man, as well as the suspect, a 29-year-old man, who was quickly taken into custody.
A dispatcher confirmed a suspect was in custody but could not provide any information on the victim’s condition.
Bauer said that detectives were investigating the shooting.
