3 shot in Trotwood early Sunday; investigation ongoing

As Trotwood officers checked the area, three people were admitted to local hospitals with gunshot wounds, police said.

All three gunshot victims had injuries described as not life-threatening.

A security guard at Sheikhs Restaurant & Lounge at 4183 Salem Ave. told 911 dispatchers people in a vehicle fire shots near the parking lot.

“I just saw the bullets coming out of a car,” he said. “They pulled off.”

The caller said he did not see who fired the gun.
