Woman found dead in Darke County mobile home fire ID’d

The fire was reported around 2:45 p.m. Dec. 12 on Little John Drive in the Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Community in Neave Twp.

Emergency crews reported seeing heavy smoke coming from the mobile home, where crews found one person dead inside.

Lees was pronounced dead on the scene.

Deputies were joined on the scene by New Madison Fire, Greenville City Fire, Arcanum Rescue, and later additional fire crews from Arcanum, Greenville Twp., Liberty Twp. and Pitsburg, as well as the Darke County Coroner’s Office and State Fire Marshal’s Office.
