Authorities investigating remains at John Bryan State Park

Skeletal remains were reportedly found at John Bryan State Park just after noon Saturday, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources reported.

The remains were found just north of the Orton picnic area parking lot. ODNR Natural Resource Officers arrived on the scene just after noon.

A coroner was called to the scene and is investigating, the ODNR said. Initial reports do not show any information about the cause of death.

No additional information was available.
