A Dayton man was indicted Thursday in connection to a March sex offense.

Markise La John Martin Sr., 31, is charged with rape and two counts of kidnapping; each charge includes a three-year firearm specification, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

The sex offense reportedly happened March 27, according to an affidavit and statement of facts filed in Dayton Municipal Court.

Martin is scheduled to appear Tuesday for his arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
