Dayton police investigate shots fired

Dayton police and medics were called Thursday evening to a shots fired in the city

The gunshots were reported around 5:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Riverview Avenue.

Dayton police wrapped up its investigation at the scene shortly after 8 p.m.

It’s not clear whether anyone was shot in the incident that initially was reported as a shooting.
