Dayton police respond to drive-by shooting Sunday

A drive-by shooting was reported in Dayton early Sunday morning.

Dayton police responded to reports of a shooting around 2:08 a.m. in the area of North Main Street and East Parkwood Drive, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

A 911 caller said “somebody got shot - a woman” and that the victim was shot in the leg.

A second 911 caller confirmed that somebody in a dark gray four-door car drove by and shot the victim in the leg to the dispatcher.
