Dayton firefighters were called to a house fire Thursday afternoon in the Five Oaks neighborhood.

Smoke was showing when crews responded to the fire reported around 3:10 p.m. in the 500 block of Forest Avenue.

There were no injuries reported, and the house was boarded up and vacant, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
