Girl hit by a 4-wheeler in West Carrollton

A 9-year-old girl suffered minor injuries early Saturday afternoon when she was hit by a four-wheeler in West Carrollton.

Crews responded to West Main Street, where the girl was side-swiped on the sidewalk, said officer Christopher Fairchild of the West Carrollton Police Department.

“The juvenile was transported to an area hospital as a precautionary measure,” he said.

The driver has not been cited and the crash is pending further investigation, according to police.
