Rite Aid robber hands note to pharmacy, claims he has gun

A man who said he had a gun handed a note Thursday night to the Rite Aid pharmacy during a robbery.

The robbery was reported shortly after 7 p.m. at the Rite Aid at 4328 N. Main St. in Harrison Twp., according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

The robber did not show any weapons, and filled a bag with the narcotic painkiller oxycodone before leaving.

The suspect’s description was not immediately available, and the robbery remains under investigation.
