Salem Avenue closed, emergency crews on scene due to crash in Dayton

Emergency crews have closed Salem Avenue near the intersection with Manhattan Avenue due to a crash, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch records.

Records were unclear about the details of the crash, but said that a person called 9-1-1 yelling for help at around 3 a.m.

In scanner traffic, we heard emergency crews saying one person was being taken to the hospital with potentially serious injuries.
