Piqua motorcyclist dies in Miami County crash

A 21-year-old Piqua man was identified as the motorcyclist killed Wednesday afternoon in a crash near Troy.

Justin Dreer was riding a black 2007 Yamaha south on County Road 25A around 3:40 p.m. when a black Cadillac DTS headed north turned in front of him at Interstate 75 exit 78, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Piqua Post.

Dreer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac, 90-year-old Frank Gleason Jr. of Sidney, suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
