Austin Business Park attracts more growth as new building planned

A new 60,000 square foot building is being planned for the Austin Business Park in Miamisburg.

Plans by developer BW Partners Ltd. call for the facility to provide office/light-industrial flex space off Byers Road, according to Miamisburg planner Ryan Homsi. Tenants have not been announced.

BW Partners is a joint venture formed between Construction Managers of Ohio and Mark Fornes Realty Inc.

The firm has constructed two other buildings in the business park, Homsi said. This one would be between Byers and Nickolai Boulevard, which the city constructed as part of the deal for United Grinding to build its North American headquarters near the Austin Boulevard interchange.

The business park is a focus of development for the city, and the completion of Nickolai Boulevard is expected to draw further jobs and traffic, city officials have said.

The new building would be the result of a lot split application designed to create a 5.5-acre tract on which the facility would be built, city records show.

The proposal was approved by Miamisburg City Council Tuesday night.
