Non-urgent surgeries are currently being reviewed on a case by case basis to decide if rescheduling is possible, according to a release sent by Dayton Children’s.

The hospital is asking that parents and children who are sick reschedule their appointment for a day when they are feeling better.

If the family is well, Dayton Children’s is allowing in-person, telephone, and video visitation.

“If parents do not hear from their care team within 24 hours before the appointment, please give the clinic a call to discuss these options,” they said.
