Communities have had to make many adjustments with the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, students included, and a local school district is doing what they can to encourage their students with the help of a few local law enforcement agencies.

Centerville school counselors spent a day helping students gear up for the weekend and their spring break by providing food and supplying brand new board games and other activities, said a Centerville Police Department Facebook post.

The counselors had a little help from the Centerville Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the Washington Twp. Fire Department.

The Centerville Police called helping the counselors care for their students a privilege, according to the post.

Even in uncertain times, schools and law enforcement agencies are coming up with ways to continue caring for one another within the community.
