The brewery will celebrate the creation of Salted Carm-Ale and unveil it for sampling between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Nov. 16 at a tapping party at Rivertown Brewery & Barrel House, 6550 Hamilton Lebanon Road, Monroe.
A dollar from every pint of Salted Carm-Ale will benefit cancer research organization The Cure Starts Now.
Six-packs of Salted Carm-Ale are slated to be on store shelves by mid-November.
“We love The Cure Starts Now, their mission to find a homerun cure and their team,” said Lindsey Roeper, co-owner of Rivertown Brewing. “This is the first year that we are packaging our Cure Collab in bottles, in addition to kegs. We are excited to bring awareness across our six states of distribution to such an amazing organization.”

Rivertown’s commitment to helping kids battling cancer with The Cure Starts Now has been “extraordinary,” according to Brooke Desserich, executive director of The Cure Starts Now.
“We love working with companies who are so passionate and driven to putting an end to cancer through the homerun cure,” Desserich said.

Rivertown’s Salted Carm-Ale is a result of that collaboration and its flavor was inspired by Lauren Hill, who became a voice for children everywhere battling cancer and was also known for her love of chocolate caramel candies.
