Two new housing developments coming to Centerville

Two housing developments in Centerville made it pass their final stages, after city council gave final approval to both projects.

The Allure, a $25 million luxury apartment complex at the site of the former Showcase Cinemas behind Cross Pointe Shopping Center, was approved by a 5-1 vote.

The development plans show the complex would include 108 one-bedroom and 206 two-bedroom units, spread across seven separate, four-story buildings.

Amenities include a clubhouse, pool, workout facilities, dog park and various gathering spaces.

The Randall Residence, an assisted living facility located at the intersection of Sheehan and West Social Row roads, was approved unanimously, 6-0. Construction this project could begin this spring.

The 171,021-square-foot development will offer 84 quadplex condo style apartments, 60 independent living apartments, 58 assisting living apartments, and 48 memory support apartments.

Council approved the projects Monday night.
