Today will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. The rain chances will continue through nightfall and taper off in the early hours of Sunday.
Temperatures during the day will be near 85 degrees, and fall to around 66 degrees overnight.
Tomorrow, we will again see a chance of afternoon showers with a slight chance of storms, which will both fall after dark. Overnight, the NWS forecast that the clouds will break for mostly clear skies.
Sunday will be partly sunny and warmer, with a high near 87 degrees, which will fall to around 67 degrees overnight.
Monday will be sunny and hot, with a high near 89 degrees during the day and a low of around 68 degrees Monday night.
