Ryan A. Keller, 33, of Piqua, was in Dayton this afternoon when he agreed to meet a Piqua detective at a fast-food restaurant on Keowee Street in Dayton.
He surrendered and was charged with aggravated robbery. He will be booked into the Miami County Jail.
His arrest comes 48 hours after the Chase Bank robbery at 401 Spring St. in Piqua.
NewsCenter 7’s Steve Baker caught up to Keller as he was being taken to jail.
When asked if he robbed the bank, Keller said, “Can’t comment, sorry.”
He denied having a drug problem. His last words to Baker were to “have a good day.”

An arrest warrant has been issued for Ryan A. Keller, 33, of Piqua. He is wanted for aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, in connection with the Wednesday robbery of Chase Bank, 401 Spring St., in Piqua, according to a news release from Piqua police.
Keller was last seen leaving the area around noon Wednesday in a silver 2004 Oldsmobile Alero, Ohio license plate FNF4641.
He is described as a white man with red hair and blue eyes standing 5 feet 10 inches who weighs 151 pounds. Anyone who sees Keller is urged to contact local law enforcement and should not approach him because he may be armed, according to Piqua police.
UPDATE @ 8:42 p.m. March 18: A 43-year-old Piqua man has been arrested in connection with the bank robbery at the Chase branch on Spring Street, Piqua police said late this afternoon.
Derek W. Scharsch, of Greene Street, is being detained on a felony charge of obstructing justice, police said.
Police believe the robber may be in a 2004 silver four-door Oldsmobile Alero, Ohio license tag FNF 4641. The occupant of the car may be armed, police said, so the department wants anyone who sees the car to report it to their local police agency.
UPDATE @ 3:30 p.m.: Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man suspected of robbing the bank.
Surveillance cameras captured the image of the robber while he was inside the bank.
He displayed a gun that was tucked into the waistline of his pants.

Police in Piqua are responding to a reported robbery at Chase Bank, 401 Spring St.
The robber was reported as a male wearing a stocking cap, dark pants and blue shirt, according to scanner traffic.
Police were alerted around 11:45 a.m.
