Armed robber flees with pills from CVS pharmacy

ROSS TWP. — A suspect remains at-large following an aggravated robbery at a drug store on Hamilton Cleves Road.

Around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, a white male entered the store at CVS, 3733 Hamilton Cleves, and stole an undetermined amount of Oxycodone pills, prescription pain killers, according to police dispatchers.

The man reportedly entered the store and gave an employee a note stating it was a robbery and he had a gun, according to Ross. Twp. police. But no handgun was visible.

The man fled the store in a silver Mazda and headed toward U.S. 27. The suspect is described as between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds, and having light facial hair. The man was wearing a black baseball cap, beige long sleeve zipped fleece, blue jeans and black shoes.
